Andy Wolfe

Andy Wolfe, age 89, of Pryor, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 24, 2025. Born on May 25, 1935, in Jay, Oklahoma, Andy's life was defined by his love for family and his appreciation for life's simple joys. He was a humble, God-fearing man who loved to serve the Lord. Andy spent many years as a truck driver—a role that reflected his steady, reliable nature. Off the clock, he found great pleasure in spending time at the lake fishing, where he could relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Andy also loved watching wrestling on television. Family was the center of Andy’s world. He cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, whether gathering for celebrations, or cheering them on at sporting events and ball games. His warm presence and supportive nature enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. A devoted member of the Coo-y-yah Baptist Church in Pryor, Andy's faith and kindness left a lasting impact on his community. His legacy is one of simple pleasures, steadfast love, and an enduring commitment to those he cared about.

He is survived by his sons, Clifford Wolfe and wife Mary of Pryor, OK; Tommy Wolfe and wife Lesa of Pryor, OK; Marcus Wolfe and wife Brenda of Chelsea, OK; and Bodie Wolfe and wife Marissa of Claremore, OK; his daughters, Kim Graham and husband Keith of Pryor, OK; Wanda Devine and husband Thomas of Inola, OK; and Cheryl Long and husband Everett of Locust Grove, OK; his sister, Minnie Price and husband Chuck of Pryor, OK; as well as 21 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maudie (Springwater) Wolfe; his parents, Ben and Lula Wolfe; his brother, Wesley Wolfe; his sister, Mary Lou Jumper; and his grandson, Miles Wolfe.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2025, in the Pryor First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Cox and Pastor Raymond Snell officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with CJ Wolfe, Nate Wolfe, Chad Wolfe, Kevin Graham, Oliver Odle, and Dawson Waites serving as Casket Bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Vander Wolfe, Audie Wolfe, David Wolfe, and Kyle Karre. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor.
