Ángel nació el 27 de agosto de 1991 en Amarillo y vivió en Hereford toda su vida. Era hijo de Rosendo y Ernestina (Guerrero) Álvarez. Angel trabajó en M.B. McKee Co., Inc. y se graduó en 2009 de Hereford High School. Hogareño, disfrutaba de los juegos y era un ávido fanático de los Denver Broncos.
Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Rosendo; abuelo, Julián Guerrero; y su cuñada, Oralia "Tweety" Zallar. A Ángel le sobreviven su madre, Ernestina (Guerrero) Álvarez de Hereford; hermano, Rosendo Álvarez, Jr. de Hereford; tíos: José Luis Álvarez, de San Angelo, y Manuel (Dora) Álvarez, de Uvalde; muchos primos cariñosos; y mejores amigos: Javier Lira, Sergio Campos y Gilbert Luna, todos de Hereford.
Una celebración de la vida de Ángel será a las 2:00 p.m., el sábado 3 de mayo en Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors, 601 Main Street, Hereford con el pastor Rubén Coronado oficiando. El entierro será en el cementerio Rest Lawn. Ángel será velado y su familia recibirá a sus amigos desde las 12:00 del mediodía hasta las 8:00 de la noche, el viernes 2 de mayo en la funeraria.

Angel Alvarez, age 33 years old, of Hereford, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at his home following a lengthy illness.
Angel was born on August 27, 1991, in Amarillo and lived in Hereford all of his life. He was the son of Rosendo and Ernestina (Guerrero) Alvarez. Angel was employed with M.B. McKee Co., Inc. and was a 2009 graduate of Hereford High School. A homebody, he enjoyed gaming and was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rosendo; grandfather, Julian Guerrero; and sister-in-law, Oralia "Tweety" Zallar. Angel is survived by his mother, Ernestina (Guerrero) Alvarez of Hereford; brother, Rosendo Alvarez, Jr. of Hereford; uncles: Jose Luis Alvarez of San Angelo, and Manuel (Dora) Alvarez of Uvalde; many loving cousins; and best friends: Javier Lira, Sergio Campos, and Gilbert Luna all of Hereford.
A celebration of Angel's life will be 2:00 PM, Saturday May 3 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors, 601 Main Street, Hereford with Pastor Ruben Coronado officiating. Burial will be at Rest Lawn Cemetery. Angel will lie in state and his family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM, Friday May 2 at the funeral home.
