Angel Cavazos, 53, entered into eternal rest on November 6, 2025, at his home in Mission, Texas. He was born on November 12, 1971, in Mission, Texas.
Angel was a man whose heart was full of love, faith, and joy. Family was everything to him - they were always his first priority, and he found his greatest happiness in spending time surrounded by those he loved. He had a beautiful gift for bringing people together, whether through music, laughter, or his amazing cooking. Raul was a wonderful cook who loved preparing meals for his family, especially during celebrations and special occasions.
He was creative and full of life - he loved to draw, to listen to music, and to celebrate every birthday with great enthusiasm. He never missed a chance to give gifts, not for recognition, but because he truly loved to make others smile. His strong faith guided him through life, and his generous heart touched everyone who knew him.
Angel is survived by his beloved son and daughter, Angel (Perla) Cavazos and Deliala Cavazos; his cherished grandchildren, Ruby Cavazos, Ava Cavazos, Mercedes Cavazos, Archangel Cavazos, Mary Kay Cavazos, Bryson Cavazos, and Yeshua Cavazos; his loving parents, Raul Cavazos and Leonor Emilia Hernandez; and his two brothers, Jason Cavazos and Daryl Cavazos.
His life was an example of love, humility, and joy - a man whose laughter, kindness, and faith will live forever in the hearts of those blessed to have known him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Flores Funeral Home in Mission, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission, Texas. Burial will follow at Santa Fe Cemetery, in Mission, Texas.
Angel will forever be remembered for his generous heart, his love for music and family, and the joy he brought to every moment. His spirit will live on in the love he gave so freely, and in the hearts of all who were blessed to call him family and friend.
