Angel Luis Rolon

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Angel Luis Rolon, affectionately known as "Goldo," on September 7, 2024. Angel was born on October 2, 1994, and lived an accomplished and fulfilling life that was cut tragically short. He was a resident of Cataño, Puerto Rico, but his life journey took him to many places, including a memorable time at 445 Hancock Street, Springfield, MA.
Angel was not only a talented Army certified mechanic, but he was also a devoted husband, an affectionate father, dutiful son, supportive brother, and a reliable friend. His compassionate nature was evident in the way he cared for his family, the most important aspect of his life. A dedicated individual, Angel always made sure his loved ones felt his unwavering love and support. His wife, Linda Rodriguez, their son, Emilio, his mother, Maribel Rolon, and his older brother, Luis Costa, survive him, and they will forever cherish his memory. As Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Angel made everyone feel loved and valued.
Angel's passion for life was infectious. He loved fishing, a hobby that brought him great joy and peace. Spending time in nature, with a fishing rod in hand, was one of his favorite pastimes. He was known for his knack for turning ordinary moments into memorable ones. A quote that encapsulates Angel's view on life comes from Albert Einstein: "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." Angel lived his life as if everything was a miracle, appreciating the beauty in each day.
The funeral service will be held at North End Chapel 130 Carew Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01104, on Friday, 20 Sep 2024 at 11:00am to 1:00pm. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts veteran cemetery in Agawam at 2:00 PM.
