Angela Cheri Barron

 

Angela Cheri Bass Barron was born July 31, 1969 in Hammond, Indiana to Terry Lynn Grisham Bass and Lowell Wayland Bass. 

 

Very soon she left Indiana with her parents, as her father was drafted into the US Army. Angela went with her parents until she was 8 years old to various churches and ministry efforts in Fargo, North Dakota, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jackson, Mississippi and Detroit, Michigan.

 

In 1977 the family moved to La Junta, Colorado to plant a new church. Angela was always deeply involved in the church work, even at a young age. At age 10 she was already teaching a Sunday School class to children barely younger than herself. Some of those students are still living for God to this day.

 

Angie's bubbly, fun personality made her an asset in any situation. She loved helping with church fundraisers and worked tirelessly in the family barbecue business. She simply was willing to help in any way possible.

 

She was a caregiver all of her life, adoring her siblings, Brent and Natalie. She tended to any needs they had and they always had so much fun together. She was an amazing sister!

 

In 1986 the family moved to Greeley, Colorado to plant another church. Angela's senior year in high school was at Greeley West. She got a job and continued to be so  productive working in the church and helping in anything her family did.

 

Her college years brought some serious health challenges and for a number of years she faced struggles that she fought hard to overcome.

 

A major focus of Angie's life following those years was her dedication to her niece, Ariel Rosales Bass. Ariel was Angie's top priority for several years. She made herself available night and day, any time she was needed to provide love, warmth and care for her Ariel. Angela loved Ariel like her own.

 

January 26, 2002 was a joyous day, as Angela married the love of her life, Frank Barron. She had known him since childhood back in La Junta. They have lived a happy life in Denver since their marriage.

 

Undoubtedly, the happiest day of their life was October 5, 2008, the day their beautiful daughter, Reagan Fern Barron was born. She has brought them such love and joy.

 

Angela has also enjoyed other endeavors in her life. She worked for many years in political market research and has most recently worked for Windcrest Senior Living Community as a Communications Specialist. She loved her job there like no other, getting such satisfaction from helping the residents there live their best life and showing them daily admiration and assistance with anything they had need of. The residents and staff there loved Angela dearly.

 

Of all aspects of Angela's life, it must be noted that she adored her church, Landmark Tabernacle! She loved everything about it and would happily tell anyone!

 

Angela loved people, loved helping them celebrate the times of their life. She was excellent with cooking, decorating, planning, and rejoicing with all her friends. Her million-dollar smile and contagious laughter will live on in our hearts.

 

Angela was so invested in her darling, Reagan in every way. She said, "The main thing is I want her to go to heaven!"  She made sure Reagan got to church every time the doors were open. She was so very proud of her Reagan Fern.

 

On August 27, 2023, Angela departed this life surrounded by loving family and dearest of friends.

 

Angela was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Wayland Bass and her brother, Lowell Brent Bass.

 

She is survived by her husband, Frank M. Barron, daughter, Reagan Barron, mother, Terry Bass, sister, Natalie Lozano, Mother-in-law, Cecelia Barron and Father-in-law, Frank Barron Sr. Also surviving is Angela's grandmother Frances Grisham as well as a host of loving extended family.
