Angela Dale (Edwards) Cole, age 60, of
Bedford, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at her residence. Born October 8, 1964 in Madison, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jesse Dale Edwards and Frances Jean (Wakefield) Furse.
Mrs. Cole was a 1983 graduate of Trimble County High School in Bedford, and an instructional aide at the Bedford Elementary School. She was a member of the Bedford Baptist Church, and enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing and loved her family dearly.
Her surviving family includes her husband, Steve Cole, to whom she was married on November 30, 2013; two daughters: Hilary Smith and her husband, Brian of Milton, Kentucky, and Mikaela Hall and her husband, Zach of Bedford; three sons: Josh Shuck and his wife, Katie of Milton, Jeremy Shuck and his wife, Amanda of Salem, Indiana, and Elijah Shuck and his companion, Kaycee of Bedford; her father, Jesse Edwards of Vevay, Indiana; her mother and stepfather, Jean and John Furse of Bedford; one sister, Susie Edwards and her companion, Harley of Moores Hill, Indiana; one niece, Haileigh Haas and her companion, Hunter of Madison; twelve grandchildren: Mason, Carson, Maya, Judah, Maisy, Emmy, Grant, Hartlyn, Jenna Dale, Sadie Mae, Jace and Lilly; her church family at Bedford Baptist Church and many family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jesse and Mavis Edwards; maternal grandparents, Marguerite Bay and Roscoe Wakefield; stepmother, Ella Mae Edwards; mother-in-law, Patty Cole; brother-in-law, Timmy Franks; cousin, Pansy Peters; and aunts and uncles Allen and Margie Edwards, Carl Bovard, Dennis Whitham and Phillip Haley.
The Reverend Mark Payton will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Bedford Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Pleasantview Cemetery, Milton.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Friday and from 9 AM until the time of services on Saturday at the church.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Trimble County Library or Bedford Baptist Church Cedarmore Camp.
