Angela D. Cook, 54, entered eternal life on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from her home. She was the daughter of Patricia Stamper and Isaac "Bud" Cook. She was born in Whitesburg, KY on September 24, 1971. Angie was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac "Bud" Cook and her son, Christopher Sexton.
Angela is survived by her mother, Patricia Stamper of Monticello, KY; stepmother, Sandra Cook of St. Paul, VA; daughter, Nicole (Jason) Rose of Appalachia, VA; grandchildren, Jaselynn Rose and Elijah Rose of Appalachia, VA; sisters, Aimee (Steve) Charles of Appalachia, VA, Lori Stamper of Monticello, KY; brother, Jason Stamper of Monticello, KY; nieces, Hunter McKenzie, Elizabeth McKenzie, Kailee Jones, Rylee Mullins; nephews, Blaize Johnson, Aiden Plumley; many great nephews; 1 great niece and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home with memorial services following in the funeral home chapel.
