Angela Sue "Angie" Craig, 59 of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. Born September 27, 1966 in Nelsonville, she was the daughter of Reta Elaine Mount Mash and the late Jerald Richard Mash.
A 1984 graduate of Alexander High School where she also attended Tri-County Career Center for horticulture, Angie would work for many years at Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville as a dietary aide until her leaving to care for her beloved grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and would drop any task she was doing to be with them. She was always excited for spring time to come around as she was an avid morel mushroom hunter. Angie was a lover of music of any genre and had a wonderful sense of humor her friends and family will miss.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of over 39 years, Todd Craig; children, Richard (Kristen) Craig, William Craig, Courteny (Emily) Tome, Lillian (Mike) Mash; grandchildren, Bo, Allison, Jackson, Levi, Oakley; siblings, Corita (Ernie) Scurlock-Mash, Jerri Lynn Clay, Carla Mash, Brian Mash; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025 with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Church Cemetery. You may call upon the family on the day of the service from 11AM - 1PM.
