Angela Chauvin Dominique

Angela Chauvin Dominique, age 64, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. She was a native of Lockport and a longtime resident of the Capri Court community in Bayou Blue, Louisiana.
Angela was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Gary Chauvin, and two daughters, Garilyn Chauvin and Kristan Dominique; nine grandchildren, Kobe Albert, Lawrence Butler, Jr., Jadelyn Butler, Denzel Butler, Myah Allen, Maleah Dominique, Mekhi Allen, Aniyah Dominique and Avah Allen. She loved her family, giving all of her time to her kids and grandkids.
Angela is also survived by her mother, Dolores Cothron, sisters Donna Chauvin Falgoust (Armant), Lisa Chauvin Gros (Randy) and brother Craig Cothron.
Angela was preceded in death by her companion, Douglas "Ray" Easely.; and father, Wilbur "Cotton" Cothron, and her loving paternal grandparents Ecklin J. Chauvin, Sr. and Marie Bergeron Chauvin, and her maternal grandparents Agatha Griffin Schouest and John Schouest.
Her tireless dedication and remarkable service of 30+ years to the Capri Court community has created a lasting impact, forever etched in the memories of those she touched.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
