Angela Murray Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Angela went on to secure her employment in the healthcare field and later in social services and occasionally did volunteer work. Angela became very active in her church St. John Praise & Worship Center until her health concerns became a factor.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Homer E. Murray, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Angela is survived by and leaves to cherish her memory her only child, Dionte S. Moore; Eva D. Murray (mother), both of Carbondale, IL; Sharon L. Murray Hampton (sister) of Nashville, TN; Ron E. "Tillie" Murray (brother) of Evansville, IN; JaLon Nolan (brother) of Murphysboro, IL; and Anthony Wilson (brother) of Cape Girardeau, MO. Nieces: Alexis Murray and Ariana Murray, both of Evansville, IL. Nephews: Delano J. Thompson of Carbondale, IL; Cameron D. Thompson of Atlanta, GA; and Domonic D. Hampton of Evansville, IN. Great-nieces and nephews: Marissa A. Thompson, Camir T. Thompson, Tianna Thompson, and Allysandra Tomas, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Angela recognizes special friends Rolester Dalton, Katrice, Shira, Penny, Sara, Minister Sandra Tarver, and Johnny Walker.
Services for Angela F. Murray will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at St. John Praise & Worship Center in Pulaski, IL. Visitation is scheduled to begin @ 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 P.M. Funeral service will begin @ 12:00 P.M. with Apostle Dr. Larry T. Barnett, Sr. Officiating. The internment will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 @ 12:00 P.M. at the Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale, IL. Online condolences may be left at WWW.MASSIEFUNERALHOME.COM
