Angela Renee Myrick-Reed, 57, of Galveston, Texas formerly of Grantville, Kansas passed away on December 29, 2025. She was born December 31, 1968 in Topeka the daughter of Ronald and Nora Sumpter Myrick. She attended Grantville Elementary School and Perry Lecompton and Jefferson West Schools. She attended beauty school to become a nail technician. She later joined Job Corps before enrolling in business college in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
She was married to Charlie B. Reed. They were blessed to share 37 years together.
Angela worked jobs in the construction industry later utility companies and at the time of her passing Bob's Grocery in downtown Galveston. She enjoyed collecting recipes, cooking and traveling. She and Charlie often made trips to Alaska.
She is survived by her husband Charlie B. Reed of Galveston, Texas; children, Dylan Reed, Dakota Reed and Diamond Reed all of Galveston and Daytona Reed of Moberly, Missouri; grandchildren, Sabrina and Sage Kornn of Kingwood, Texas and Memphis Reed of Galveston; mother, Nora Murry and her husband Rex of Topeka; and step brother, William Murry of Liberty, Missouri.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Myrick, Sr. and three brothers, Ryan L. Myrick, Ronald Myrick, Jr. and Darrell W. Myrick.
Angela was cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
