Angela D. "Gag" White, 72, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 10:58 AM, Sunday, June 22, 2025 at her home.
Funeral Services will be at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Chaplin Mark Burkey will officiate.
Friends and Family are invited to Angela's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Arrangements for cremation will follow the service.
Angela was born August 15, 1952, in Hannibal, MO to Bob Darley and Doris Neva Griffen Turner.
Survivors include her two children, Laura Harris (Clint) of Hannibal, MO and Laurence Brothers of Hannibal, MO; two brothers, Steve Turner (Laura) of Hannibal, MO and David Turner of Hannibal, MO; six grandchildren, Brittney Romp (Joe), Shaina Bogard (Jack), Kolten Meyer (Darion), Kameron Meyer, Jordan Brothers, and Jaydan Brothers (Brett); five great grandchildren, Karson, Kylan, Maverick, Navy, and Nash; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Angela is also survived by her longtime partner, Les Stone.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Becky Darley; and grandmother, Neva Griffen.
Over the years Angela worked with several different companies. She first worked at the Little Red Shoe House, then later at St. Thomas Seminary for many years in the housekeeping department and then with the Army Corp of Engineers and the visitor center in Perry, MO. Finally, Angela worked as a clerk for many years at Big Lot's in Hannibal, MO until her retirement.
Angela found happiness in the rustle of shopping bags and getting her hair done at the salon. She was a Super Fan of WWE Wrestling, with her favorite wrestlers being Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Angela enjoyed collecting and had an extensive collection of strawberry figurines, each piece a cherished memory in her heart. She enjoyed watching the Today Show, which allowed her to stay informed and engaged with the world around her. Traveling was one of Angela's greatest joys, visiting the Colorado Mountains and the Royal Gorge Bridge were two of her favorites. An exceptional cook, Angela's fried chicken and mashed potatoes were legendary. But it was her strawberry pie and pumpkin pie that stole the show at family gatherings and holidays. For a special treat, Angela enjoyed trips to Royal Garden for her favorite, Chinese Noodles.
Angela cherished her role as a grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she poured every ounce of her love into their upbringing. Most of all, Angela's family and faith were the cornerstone of her life. Angela will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Angela was previously a member of First United Methodist Church and later joined Tabernacle of Praise in Hannibal, MO.
