Angeline "Angie" Wisinski

Angeline "Angie" Smith Wisinski, 87, of Millcreek Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Erie on March 1, 1937, a daughter of the late Norman F. and Wanda Zamierowski Smith.
After graduating from St. Benedict's Academy, Class of 1955, Angie worked as a secretary for WJET Radio for many years. She was also employed at Erie Resistor Corp., until she became a stay-at-home mom while raising her two daughters. She later rejoined the workforce, retiring from National Fuel Gas.
Angie was a long-time member of St. George Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, where she found peace and beauty in every bloom, and her love for cooking and baking was at the heart of many family gatherings.
Angie loved to travel, and she cherished the many times she and Joe embarked on cruises, allowing them to explore the beautiful beaches throughout the Caribbean. Those moments brought her immense joy and were a testament to the love and adventures they shared together.
We will miss her zest for life and her sense of humor, which kept us smiling through her final days.
Angie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Wisinski; her daughters, Christen Wisinski (Scott Wardle) of Pittsburgh and Diane (Mark) Wagner of Erie; and her granddaughters, Anna and Eleni Katsas.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 5145 Peach St., Erie, Pa 16509, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, Pa 16504.
