Angie Huerta Romero, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in Globe, Arizona, six months after the loss of her husband, Juan Romero.

Born in Sonora, Arizona, to Anita Aragon Huerta and Juan Cheno Huerta, Angie was the youngest of a large and loving family. She grew up with many siblings: Mary Lou A. Holt, Rosemary A. Redondo, Maggie A. Huerta, Connie H. Arroyos, Robert A. Huerta, Frederico F. Huerta, Roy Mercado, Manuel A. Huerta, and her Noriega siblings: Johnny A. Noriega, George A. Noriega, Louis A. Noriega, Manuel A. Noriega, Henry Fierro, Lola Noriega, Annie Noriega, and Fina Noriega.

Angie worked at Motorola with her sister Maggie and married Juan Castro Romero on August 21, 1969, at St. Francis Catholic of Assist Church in Superior, Arizona. They raised three children: Johnny H. Romero, Louise H. Romero, and Joseph H. Romero.

She cherished time with her grandchildren from Louise Romero and Roland Miranda Sr.: Mercedes Angelina Romero, Roland Miranda Jr., Roland "Cuba" Miranda III, Juan "Keke" Romero, and Maya Mariah Miranda - and her great-grandchild: Melody Miranda Champagne. Angie treasured family gatherings and time spent with her extended family, including her brothers, sisters, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

After losing her home to a Massive Fire, Angie and Juan moved to Globe, Arizona, where they enjoyed life together, going shopping, riding the bus, and eating Mexican food. Angie's warmth, elegance, and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
