Angelo DiLullo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery on Apr. 22, 2025.
Angelo Louis DiLullo, 82, of Jacksonville, Fl passed away April 20, 2025. He was born March 5, 1943 in New Eagle, PA to the late Alex DiLullo and Jovena DeFrancesco DiLullo of Charleroi, PA. Angelo was graduate of Monongahela Valley Catholic High School and attended California State College. In November of 1967, he married the love of his life and best friend, Patricia Ann Macheda. Angelo served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was of the Catholic faith, a dedicated parishioner of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus and played football in high school and college.
Angelo enjoyed bass fishing in his 1977 skeeter bass boat, deer hunting in Georgia and visiting Louisiana and the mountains of Tennessee. He never passed a round of golf and looked forward to being on the greens with friends. Angelo had an imaginative sense of humor, very giving nature and a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family loving them deeply and holding them above anything else.
Angelo is survived by his best friend and wife of 57 years, Patty DiLullo; children, Elisa DiLullo, Christopher DiLullo and Matthew DiLullo all of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Mary Winiecki of Amherst, NH; brother in law, Richard Macheda, sister in law, Barbara Hays and brother in law, Jim Hays all of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Matthew Jacob DiLullo, Dominic Thomas DiGregorio and Natalie Ann DiGregorio all of Jacksonville, FL; many nieces, nephews, cousin, one aunt and one uncle with a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Pradeep Aerthayil at 11:00am, Friday, April 25, 2025 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 10:45am prior to Mass.
