Angelo D. Pacifico

Angelo D. Pacifico, age 97, resident of Richland, passed away Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. Angelo was born August 6, 1928, in Manhattan, NY, the son of Arthuro and Maria Marro Pacifico. He graduated from New York City high schools and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. He served in the United States Army from October 26, 1950, until October 18, 1952. Angelo was married to his wife of 66-years, Joan Spencer Pacifico on May 9, 1959. He was employed by the City of New York as Director of Testing Laboratory until his retirement. Angelo was a member of the American Chemical Society.

Angelo is survived by his wife, Joan, son, David Pacifico and daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Barton Powers, all of Fernwood, two granddaughters, Sarah Vickers and Jessica Powers and two great-grandchildren, Paige Vickers and Lincoln Vickers.

A spring graveside service will be held at South Richland Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements in care of Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
