Angelo L. Ramos Jr.

Angelo Louis Ramos, Jr., 73, of Carteret passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 At John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Manhattan, New York, Angelo has resided in Carteret for 42 years and was employed by various companies over the years including Lawter Chemical as a forklift operator in the shipping department, Morlees Men's Shop as a salesman and most recently the City of Jersey City as a custodian. Throughout high school, Angelo played baseball and football and later in life was an avid fisherman, joining the Central Jersey Bassin' Buddies, enjoyed bowling and music, playing the alto saxophone. Angelo will be remembered as a loving and cherished husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be deeply missed.

Angelo was predeceased by his parents, Angelo L., Sr. and Irene Ramos. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Anne V. Ramos; children, Angelo L. Ramos, III. and Lisa M. Ramos; grandchildren, Analise V. and Emily A. Ramos and Izabel and Lianna Jimenez; brother, Osbaldo Ramos with his wife Juanita; nephew, Adam Ramos and niece, Samantha Ramos.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 3pm to 7pm at GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. Private cremation will follow.
