Angelo Scardigno Obituary
Born on August 14, 1935 in Hoboken, NJ, he was a son of the late Angelo and Maddalena (Albanese) Scardigno and lived in Monroe County since 2001 having moved from North Arlington, NJ.
Angelo worked for Velourit Textile in Hoboken, NJ, Lion Ribbon Company in Secaucus, NJ and Offray in Dover, NJ.
He enjoyed going to the casino, bowling and playing BINGO.
He is survived by four children, Madaline Troost of Beaver Dam, NY, Mary Nordlander and husband Keith of Milton, DE, Ann Marie Ketz and husband Kevin McWilliams of Tobyhanna, and Michael Scardigno and wife Linda of Corona, CA; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer Dolga, Alicia Grande, George Ketz, V, Christopher Vargas, Jessica Nabas, Claire Nordlander, Kaitlin Brode, Ryan Nordlander, Gloria Waters, Michael Scardigno, Jr. and Matthew Scardigno; three brothers, Joseph Kyle of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Scardigno of Hoboken, NJ and Morris Scardigno of NC; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Scardigno.
Family and friends are invited to the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg on Sunday, March 8th, where viewing will take place from 1:00 to 4:00PM and include a Catholic prayer service at 3:30PM. Cremation will follow.
