Angelo Stravato

Angelo Stravato, 89, passed away on December 2, 2025, at Morristown Medical Center. Born and raised in Fondi, Italy, Angelo carried his heritage proudly throughout his life. He came to North Plainfield 57 years ago, where he built a home filled with warmth, tradition, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
Angelo worked for many years as a supervisor with ITW Thielex Plastic in Piscataway, NJ, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and gentle leadership. Deeply connected to his community, he was a longtime member of the Italian American Club in North Plainfield and served as President of the Orange Hunting Club, places where he formed lifelong friendships and shared countless stories.
Above all, Angelo's greatest joy came from his family. Whether gathered around the table, celebrating milestones, or simply spending time together, he treasured every moment with those who meant the world to him.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of 71 years, Anna Mancini Stravato; his loving son, Carlo Stravato; three cherished daughters, Maria Iolanda Stravato, Franca DePaola, and Alessandra Loreti; his four brothers; nine adoring grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and happiness.
Private services have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home in Fanwood.
