Angie Roybal, 92 of Arroyo Seco, NM, passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2024. Angie was born to Felix and Josefita Lujan of Jaconita, NM on April 1, 1932.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Josefita Lujan and in-laws Antonio and Maria Roybal, husband Adenios Roybal, daughter Marlene Roybal, son Matthew Roybal, grandson Rick Ortiz, brothers Don (Laura) Lujan and Ben (Josie) Lujan, sisters Viola (Paul) Mascarenas, Isabel Roybal, and Grace (Edward) Gomez, brother in-law Gilbert Gonzales, and special friend Johnny Quintana.
Angie is survived by son Michael Roybal, daughter Michelle Roybal, grandsons Craig (Michaela) Roybal and Corey (Darian) Hickerson, granddaughters Elana (John) Gerhart, Justine (Mike) Vigil and Camille Hickerson, and 9 great grandchildren, sister Reynalda Gonzales, and brother-in-law Joe T. Roybal.
Adenios and Angie were married and had 4 children. They raised their family in the Pojoaque Valley. Angie worked at the Pojoaque High School until she retired. Angie was a devout catholic who devoted time daily to pray the holy rosary. Angie enjoyed dancing and spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by many.
A Rosary will take place on August 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Pojoaque, NM, and the burial at Pojoaque Catholic Cemetery.
