Aniela Czerwonka

PAWTUCKET - Aniela (Hospod) Czerwonka passed away at the Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice Center in

Providence on the

evening of October 11, 2025. She was the wife of the late Stanislaw Stanley Czerwonka.

Mrs. Czerwonka was born on September 25, 1941, in Grodzisko, Gorne, Poland, daughter of the late Maria Matuszek and Jan Hospod. Aniela immigrated to the United States when she was 24 years old, settling in Pawtucket. She was a devout Catholic and communicant of St. Joseph's Polish Catholic Church on High St in Central Falls. Aniela was also a dedicated member of the Holy Rosary Society. In addition to being a committed wife and mother, Mrs. Czerwonka worked as a weaver for Elizabeth Webbing Mills for over 30 years.

Mrs. Czerwonka is survived by her daughter Dorothy Bergeron of Pawtucket. She was the proud grandmother of Christopher Kozlowski and Matthew Bergeron. Aniela was the beloved great grandmother of Asher Bergeron. She was the beloved sister of Stanistaw Hospod, Jozef Hospod, Wladyslaw Hospod and Tadeusz Hospod.

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday October 16th in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. in Central Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday October 17th in St. Joseph Polish Catholic Church 391 High St. in Central Falls. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery 359 Dagget Ave. in Pawtucket.
