He is survived by his wife, Rama (Pujara) Thakrar; sons, Anand Thakrar and his wife, Alison; Anish Thakrar; grandchildren, Jordan Orth and Raiden Thakrar; sisters, Vilas Tejura, Vina Patel, and Nisha Desai; brother, Prakash Thakrar.
Calling hour and prayers will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.). Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com

Anil was a good friend of my dad's and our family. We used to all go for picnics together often when his kids and my brothers were young. I will never forget how he took Manisha, my daughter, back into the water at Bushkill Park. Manisha was having a 2-year-old temper tantrum and did not want to get out of the water. He was kind enough to take her back in the water to calm her down so I could take a break and eat something. I will never forget his kindness on that day. I was only 22 years old at that time. Rest in Peace dearest Anil. Love Nootan Bakrania.
