Anita Margot Anderson, 68, of Superior, Wisconsin, passed away on July 26, 2025. Anita was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, on April 2, 1957, to Ingwer and Margot Clausen. She moved to the United States after marrying Roger Anderson on July 25, 1980. Together, they made their home in Wisconsin, where they raised their two children. Anita worked a variety of jobs over the years, but what brought her the most fulfillment was being a mother and a grandmother. Her grandchildren were especially dear to her. Anita had a lifelong love of cooking and was known for preparing meals that brought people together and filled the house with comfort and tradition. Anita is survived by her children, Frank Anderson of Superior, WI, and Christina (Michael) Madden of Sun Prairie, WI; her grandchildren, Trent Anderson, Kylie Madden, Ryan Madden, and Dejah Anderson; and her great-grandchildren, Saint Anderson, Sonoma Anderson, and Eliana Anderson. She is also survived by her sisters, Renate (Frank) Finazzo of Oakville, MO, and Elke Clausen-Hartmann (Peter) of Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Anderson; her parents, Ingwer and Margot Clausen; her brother, Ingwer Clausen; and her sister, Inge Gehring. There will be no formal service or celebration of life. Memorials in Anita's name may be directed to the United Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, 29 N 28th St, Superior, WI, or to Shriners Children's Hospital at www.shrinerschildrens.org.
