A funeral mass celebrating the life of Anita Louise Cingolani, 84, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Monroe, LA with Rev. John Paul Crispin and Rev. Tobias Obado officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
Ms. Cingolani died July 31, 2024, at the Gardens of Somerset surrounded by her loving family.
Anita was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Monroe, LA and past president of the Monroe Women’s Business Association. She was the office manager for Dr. Ronald Woods and retired after over 35 years of service. She had many hobbies, she loved running and participated in three marathons, hiking, bird watching and traveling. She was an avid Louisiana Tech football and basketball fan and enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews in their sporting activities. Spending time with her large Italian family, where they often cooked together making homemade Ravioli and Cuccidati (Italian Cookies). Anita, known as Tootsie by her family, was a giving and loving sister and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oneila and John Cingolani; sister, Carol Haley; and brothers-in-law, Robert Carroll and Wiley Taylor.
Survivors: Sisters, Jo Ann Carroll, Jeanette Carpenter (Walter), Sylvia Prewitt (Wayne), Cindy Reynolds (Jimmy); Nieces and Nephews, Robyn Hemphill, Bruce Taylor, Keith Taylor, Hope Love, Stacy Bartle, Shaun Reynolds, Bonnie Thigpen; Brother-in-law, Bill Haley; and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Taylor, Tommy Hemphill, Josh Taylor, Benton Case, Bill Love, and Phillip Thigpen. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Taylor, Wayne Prewitt, Jimmy Reynolds, Bill Haley, and Walter Carpenter.
