Obituary
Mary Anita Colbath died peacefully at home on December 4, 2024, surrounded by loved ones and her little dog.
Anita, as family called her, married Eugene Colbath on March 26, 1963. They lived in Ingram and Mountain Home until his death in 2013.
Anita worked as a cook most of her life, about 20 summers at Camp La Junta in Hunt. She then worked as a head cook at Kerrville State Hospital for 16 years before retiring.
Anita had many nieces and nephews who she loved very much. Her sister, Linda Moore and brother, Raymond Moore preceded her in death as did her husband. She has a surviving sister, Connie Gilbert and brothers, David Moore and Allen Moore.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Friday, December 6, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Graveside services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Colbath Cemetery, officiated by Rev. John Onstott.
