Anita June Decker

Anita June (McGill) Decker, 73, of Bache, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, in Bache surrounded by her loving family.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Per Anita's wishes, no services will be held. Family and friends may contact her son or daughter for further information regarding the possibility of a memorial gathering at a later date.
She was born on May 15, 1952, in Antlers, Oklahoma, to William "Bill" Austin McGill and Barbara (Conley) McGill.
Anita graduated from Haileyville High School in 1970. She worked for many years at Aerotronics in Hartshorne and later at Rockwell in
McAlester, where she was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and willingness to help anyone who needed it.
Anita loved gardening and took great pride in what she planted and nurtured. She enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, always appreciating the beauty and experiences the world had to offer. She was named after the famous Carter Sisters-Anita and June-which was a point of pride and a story she cherished throughout her life.
Anita is survived by her daughter, Gwyn Honeycutt of Bache; her son, Darrell Ray Decker of Alderson; two grandchildren, Jeana Lott of Wilburton, Kimberly Lott of Bache; one great-grandson, Kyle Lott of Bache; her brothers, Gene A. McGill of Kiowa and Virgil L. McGill of Arpelar. She also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" Austin McGill and Barbara (Conley) McGill, and her sister, Sheila McGill.
Anita will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
