With great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, Anita Louise DeGelormo, of Tavares, Florida, who peacefully left us on September 20, 2025 at the age of 89. She was born on June 27, 1936 in Peekskill, New York, and lived a life full of love, kindness and selflessness.

Anita was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and friends with a big heart and an even bigger smile. She had a passion for gardening, teaching and volunteering. Her warm spirit touched the lives of many even in her last years at the Assisted Living Home where she made many friends who spoke lovingly of her to her family.

She is survived by a brother James Waldron and a sister Cindi Baxter and her children Gene R DeGelormo, Lori J Bartholomew and Lisa A Guzman, daughter-in-law Debra DeGelormo, Son-in-laws James Phillips and Julio Guzman Jr. Grandchildren Matthew & Kristy DeGelormo, Leslie DeGelormo, Lance & Nina Bartholomew, Garet & Jennifer Bartholomew, Logan Bartholomew, Allysa Guzman, Alexander Guzman and 12 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph F DeGelormo, her partner of 15 years Frank Harvey and her grandson Shane J Bartholomew.

A funeral service will be held on November 22nd at 11:00am at the Tangerine Community Church with a gathering of family and friends to follow next door.
A second funeral service is to follow in the spring in Cold Spring, New York where Mom will be laid to rest at Cold Spring Cemetery.
