Anita Giovengo Pavlinch
October 27,1961 -October 3,2025
Age 63, of Aliquippa passed away peacefully during the night on Friday, October 3,2025. Beloved wife of J. Michael Pavlinch. Loving mother of Carina Pavlinch. Dear sister of Mary Jane Conley and William Kesneck, Anthony Giovengo and Denise Lucas, Cathie Boody, Jude and Donna Giovengo, and the late Bruce Boody, Angela Davis, and Allen Davis. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished as her own.
Anita graduated from Chartiers Valley High School. She attended West Virginia University on a scholarship as their Featured Twirler, but decided that it just wasn't for her. She returned home to continue her career as a dancer. Anita was very talented and was the Head Mistress and owner of Just Dance Conservatory. She danced with the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre in New York. She later returned to Pittsburgh to dance with Point Park University and the Civic Light Opera. Anita's true passion, first and foremost, was the Lord Jesus Christ, for whom she lived a loving, caring, giving and dancing life. She had a fervor for dance and a devotion to her family, friends and all the students she taught through the years. Anita also had a commitment to the gentlemen she served and cared for at The Verland, where she was the Residential Manager. Anita will be desperately missed by her family, friends, and co-workers and anyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
