Anita F. Johnson, 70, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Transcendent Healthcare of Boonville.
Anita was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 5, 1953 to Jason and Anna (Hale) Johnson. She was a 1971 graduate of North High School and went on to graduate from Indiana University. After school she began working at the family business, Central Machine Co. until 2000 and worked as a computer data analyst until her retirement.
Anita is survived by her brother, Michael Johnson and his wife, Patti of Evansville, IN; and a nephew, Alex Johnson and his wife, Paige of Lakewood, CO.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Ronald Johnson.
A celebration of Anita's life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Rev. Janice Akers-Du Bois officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
