Anita Parente Obituary
Anita and John were married May 2, 1946 and they spent 72 years together. Mom was blessed with four children, Elena, Kathy, Johnny Michael, and Kevin as well as her beautiful grandchildren, Bryan, Danielle, Savarra, and great-grandchildren Christan, Jordyn, and Addison. She is also survived by son-in-law Michael Shaver.
Mom's main joy in her life was her devotion to her family. We will so miss mom's cooking; her pizza – the "shining star" of all that tasted so good. Her chicken cutlets were worth fighting over! We will also miss her weekly "Red Sauce Sundays" that were the highlight of the week.
Mom loved to read, crochet, knit, and paint. Her needlework and paintings adorn the walls of her home. Her love for her family knew no limits; extending out to her sisters and my uncles, our cousins and their children.
Grandma Helen and Grandaddy Joe had five beautiful daughters: Norma, Marie, Joan, Dolores, and our beloved mom, Anita.
Family is invited to attend her service on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Most Holy Redeemer, in Niskayuna, N.Y. Mom would love fresh flowers from your garden and gum drops.
