Ralph J. Friello, 64, of Rotterdam Junction passed away at Albany Medical Center on Friday November 7, 2025. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Ralph and Genevieve (D’Alessandris) Friello.
He was employed for 32 years in the NYS D.M.N.A, retiring in 2015.
Ralph was a passionate Corvette enthusiast, owning several corvettes thru the years. He was a member of the NCRS local and national chapters for corvettes. Ralph also enjoyed participating in the VIP Limited Corvette Club.
He was also avid about riding on anything with two wheels since the age of 10. Ralph enjoyed his many friends, but enjoyed his most memorable ride cross country on Route 66 and back.
Ralph also treasured all his family vacations to Maine.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his beloved dogs Willie and Hooper.
He is survived by his loving wife Karen (Hubert) Friello whom he married August 27, 1994, his son Anthony Friello (Debbie), his daughter Ashlynn Friello, his beloved sister Linda M. Beeble (Gary) and his grandchild Angelo J. Friello, nephews and nieces Markie, Gregory, Ben, Ryan, Jesse and Stephanie as well as several great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Ralph’s life will be on Friday evening at 7PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be from 4-7PM prior to the service.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ralph’s memory to a local animal shelter.
