Anita Pendleton Obituary
Ms. Anita M. Pendleton, 61, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 14th, at Porter Funeral Home.
Anita was born September 1, 1964, in Meridian, MS, to Charles and Avoy Smith Pendleton. She worked for many years as an inventory clerk at Vowell’s Market Place.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a daughter, Brittany Edwards of Louisville; a sister, Wanda Wilson; an aunt, Kathy Smith; a cousin, Chris Smith; and a grandchild, Makayla Triplett.
