Ann Allen Alfonsi

ALFONSI, Ann. August 13, 2025. 63. Beloved wife of John Alfonsi. Loving mother of Lauren Alfonsi and Megan Alfonsi (Devon Rafferty). Dearest sister of Thomas Jr. (Barb) Thayer, Amy Radabaugh, George (Ginger) Barris, Jody (Keith) Boutell, and Jill Thayer. Loving sister-in-law of JoAnn Alfonsi. Beloved daughter of Esther Barris and the late Thomas Thayer. Beloved stepdaughter to the late Nickolas Barris. Survived by many cousins, and her nieces and nephews: Chloë Barris, Zoë Barris, and Joseph Keelin.
Ann met her husband John in 1986– they've been happily married for almost 38 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, Titi, and friend to all around her. She was a huge animal lover who took care of dozens of feral and domestic cats throughout her life, including her soul-cat, Piglet.
Ann will be remembered for her huge heart, incredible thoughtfulness, and fiery spirit. She bravely battled and survived breast cancer in 2007 and continued to live her life with hope, strength, and love. She was an avid reader, a wiz at crossword puzzles and Sudoku, and a passionate holiday decorator. She was extremely proud of her flower garden.
Ann is deeply loved and missed.
A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 30, from 10:00am-2:00pm at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. The visitation will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Alfonsi residence from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
