Ann Ambs Obituary
Anna Lydia Ortega was born December 13, 1944 to Felipe and Elvira Ortega in Taos, New Mexico. She was raised in the beautiful mountains of northern New Mexico. She graduated from Menaul High School in 1963, and married Larry Ambs in Tucson, Arizona, in 1967. They lived in Peru, IN, where they raised their children.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents Felipe and Elvira Ortega, her sisters Elsie Moran and Francis Rose, and brother Felipe Ortega Jr, and her beloved grandson Jonathan.
Anna is survived by her husband Larry Ambs, son Brian Ambs, and daughter Kathryn Baumgartner and her husband Andy, and granddaughter Hannah, sisters Berlinda Trujillo, Teddi Richter, brothers Rudy & Edna Ortega, Francisco & Belen Ortega, and several nieces and nephews.
