I procrastinated to try and contact Mrs. Ashmead. My interest in the Etruscans and especially her research into vases that had wild cats on a chain as painted decoration intrigued me. At that time I could not find the printed material from her and I let my interest wane. Reading about her and seeing her nickname was "the cat lady" tells me her focus would have matched my own. God Bless her and all the family who share the warm memories of her time with you.
