Ann M. Blew

Ann M. (Hains) Blew, 79, of Windsor, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Russell Blew.
Ann was born in Cleona, PA on July 11, 1944 and the daughter of the late David B. and Alice M. (Herr) Hains.
Ann was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, but for most of her life she was a dedicated wife & mother. She was a faithful servant of the Lord; her ministry included teaching Sunday School and Jr. church at Red Lion Bible Church. She also taught at Child Evangelism Fellowship. At Red Lion Christian School, she taught kindergarten for over 10 years, and coached the school's varsity girls' basketball team for nearly 20 years. She was a member of the Gideon's Auxiliary and served as Chaplain. Ann enjoyed golf, bowling and knitting but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Russell D. Blew of Munson, PA and Nathan H. Blew and his wife Allison, of Windsor; her grandchildren, Benjamin Himes, Daniel Himes, Lydia Blew and Kathryn Blew; her brother, Glenn Hains and his wife Barbara; and close family friend and confidant, Kelly McKinsey. Ann was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Himes in 2013 and her brother and his wife, Dale and Darlene Hains.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 16 at Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Rd. Red Lion, PA 17356, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM, Pastor Steve A. Schmuck officiating. Interment will follow in Windsor Cemetery.
