June A. Saylor, 95, of Red Lion, passed peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Wellspan York Hospital. She was the loving wife of Clarence M. Saylor for 68 years until his passing on May 26, 2014.
Born August 27, 1928 in York, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Erma (Gemmill) Everhart.
Mrs. Saylor was a teacher at Red Lion Christian School and a very active member of Red Lion Bible Church where she taught Sunday School. She loved flowers and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie Barshinger and husband John, Windsor, Brenda Blevins and companion Carl Lybarger, Dover and Todd Saylor and companion Laureen Wagner, Lancaster; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 19 great, great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, William, Dale and Terry and son-in-law, Wayne Blevins.
A service to celebrate the life of June A. Saylor will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11 AM at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 West Main Street, Dallastown with Pastor Steve Schmuck officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Red Lion. Serving s pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
