She was one of my high school teachers years ago, for 3 years. She was such a great teacher, and she was just as passionate about her teaching as she was her students, and their learning. Incredibly witty too, I remember one class I wasn´t paying the most attention and she caught me and asked me to focus, I had said, "What? Mrs. Blough.. I mean, I´m an angel! I don´t know what you´re talking about." And as she laughs, she responds with, "Mhmm yes, I´m sure that´s what your parents tell you" It still makes me laugh to this day. She wasn´t afraid to be stern when she needed to be, but over the years became like a friend with tough love.. Rest easy, Mrs. Blough. I already miss you and your witty comebacks.

Mrs. Blough was the sweetest teacher for our sons. She really cared that they knew their subjects, and said she couldn't wait to see how they ended up. She has already been missed at RLCS, and she will always be in our hearts. We will see you in Heaven.

I was one of her students 4 or so years ago. I wasn´t really a trouble maker in her class, but I was "troubled". I always had a question that was never understood the first time by her. After awhile of not having her as a teacher, we had less problems. But one day in 9th or 10th grade, my class was for some reason in her classroom for a study hall session. I go up to her to talk since I´m bored, and I start off with a "Hey! Aren´t you happy you don´t have to teach me today?" as a joke. She smiled, but not because of my joke. "I never had a problem teaching you. It was always a joy seeing you engaged." It changed my whole view of my time with her as a student. Rest in peace Mrs. Blough, you are loved.
