Ann Marie Bonner, 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was the beloved wife of Paul E. Bonner. They have been married for the past 54 years.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Mary (King) Wardle. Ann Marie resided in Chepachet for the past 11 years, previously residing in Columbia, CT for 21 years and Cumberland prior to that.

She was the heart of her family and the biggest cheerleader her grandchildren could ever ask for. Whether it was a hockey or lacrosse game, or simply a story shared over the phone, she showed up with unwavering pride and love. Her devotion to family was the thread that held generations together-always encouraging, always listening, always celebrating the people she loved most.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Holly Andersen of Burrillville, and Joshua Bonner of Chepachet. Her two grandchildren: Benjamin Andersen and Sarah Andersen. Her sister Joan Picard and her husband Gary of Simsbury, CT., along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She was the sister of the late John Mark Wardle.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Ann Marie's Life Celebration to begin Visiting Hours on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Funeral and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the National Down Syndrome Society, 1155 15th Street NW, Suite 540 Washington, DC 20005.
