CENTRAL FALLS

Stanley Wec, 76, of Central Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Kent County Hospital in Warwick. He was the husband of the late Teresa (Sojka) Wec.

Born in Poland, he was the son of the late Julian and Czeslawa (Czyzowicz) Wec. He resided in Central Falls and had previously lived in Pawtucket.

Mr. Wec worked many years in the textile industry. He first worked as a plant manager at Elizabeth Webbing in Central Falls, later served as plant manager at ACS Industries in Woonsocket, and finished his career as one of the partners of K & W Webbing, Inc. in Central Falls.

Stanley was a member of St. Joseph Church on High Street in Central Falls, a member of the Pulaski Society, and a member of the Wallum Lake Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and was a true outdoorsman.

He leaves his children, John Wec and his wife, Urszula, of Pawtucket; his granddaughter, Victoria Wec of Pawtucket; his siblings, Wieslaw Wec of Central Falls, Edward Wec of Central Falls, Roman Wec of Smithfield, Jerzy Wec of Cumberland, and Krystyna Kozlowski of Johnston.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Stanley's Life Celebration to be held with visiting hours on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM, and continuing on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road (Rt. 122), Cumberland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
