Ann Marilyn Canfield, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, in McKinney, Texas, at the age of 77.
She was born on July 24, 1947, in Winona, Minnesota, and grew up in Minnesota, New York, and Texas.
Ann and her husband of 39 years, Doug, spent many happy years in Frisco before recently moving to Celina. She enjoyed a meaningful career at JCPenney and, in retirement, found friendship and community at the Frisco Senior Center.
Ann found joy in simple pleasures-family, flowers, travel, and especially Hawaii's palm trees. She also had a soft spot for the color purple and all things pig. A gifted crafter, she loved sewing and knitting. She also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Bella.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Canfield; children, Mark Polito (Carrie) and Sharon Polito (Mike); grandchild, Dyllan; bonus grandchildren, Caleb (Sami), Erica, and Alyssa; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Asher, and Jackson.
"Every life is a story. Thank you for being a beautiful and cherished chapter in ours."
