Ann Marie Cornelis

Ann was born to the union of Herbert (Shanghai) and Gladys (Happy) (Gresham) Davidson in South Bend IN. Both parents preceded her in death. Ann was a 1949 graduate of Riley High School in South Bend.
On April 16, 1955, at the First Presbyterian Church of South Bend, she married her best friend and husband for almost 58 years Roger R Cornelis, who preceded her in death on December 22, 2012.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Sandra Mann of Arlington TX, twin grandchildren, Michael (Teresa) Mann of Sanger TX and Michelle (Josh) Wariner of Plano TX and 3 great grandchildren: Charles, Elena and Henry Mann all of Sanger TX and a nephew, Kenny Cornelis of South Bend IN.
After graduation from Riley High School, Ann worked at Ball Band in Mishawaka and then at Associates in South Bend. She then worked at Studebaker for 18 years, being one of the few till the end in 1969. Next, she worked at the South Bend Community School Corporation for 6 years. Ann then worked at Low Associates in South Bend for 30+ years and retired in 2006.
Ann and Roger enjoyed their lake cottage on Gravel Lake in Michigan for 40 years. They also enjoyed going to Vegas twice a year for some 20 years and later going to the Blue Chip Casino often.

At Ann's request there will be no visitation with a private grave side service. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and beside her parents at Southlawn Cemetery. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted to handle the final arrangements.
