Ann Marie Goguen, 72, of Brooks, Maine died peacefully at Waldo County General Hospital surrounded by her close family on Thursday, August, 7th. She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence Gordon Hume and Josephine Rosemary Kerrissey of Wrentham, Massachusetts, her sister Rosemary J. Cushman & brother-in-law Robert A. 'Nannie Annie', as her grandchildren called her, was born June 13, 1953, in Norwood, MA. She attended King Philip High School in Wrentham, Mass. where she lived until moving to Maine after her two sons were born. She loved kids and was a part of the lives of so many in the local community as a custodian at Morse Memorial School in Brooks for over 30 years. She loved motorcycles and could be occasionally seen giving her boys rides in the parking lot of Goguen's General Store when they were little. She also loved black raspberry & coffee ice cream, cars, trucks, drag racing, truck & tractor pulls, and most importantly, her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know her.
