Ann H. Greer

Ann Patrice Howard Greer, 66, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 6, 2026 with her family by her side. She was born on August 11, 1959 to Robert and Doris Sapp Howard. Ann retired from Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center where she was known for her big smile as she deeply cared for the patients and work family. She worked as a secretary at Trinity High School for many years where she showed a motherly love towards the students. Her time outside of work revolved around her family, especially her grandkids. They enjoyed holiday decorating and crafts, painting, cooking, swimming, tie-dying shirts and vacationing.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish Ann's memory are her husband of 46 years, Bill Pat Greer; son, Andrew (Theresa) Greer; grandchildren, Maggie, Mason and Lincoln Greer; siblings, Keith (Marcy) Howard, Mitchell Howard, Carla (Steve) Morris, Damian (Rick Dukes) Howard, and Julie (Kerry) Pence and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be said on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with burial following at Cates Cemetery in Whitesville, KY. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. with prayers at 6:30 p.m. at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, KY.
