Ann C. Greskovich

Ann C. Greskovich, 101, of Vernon Hills, IL formerly from Whiting & Munster, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2024. She was the cherished wife of the late Charles F. Greskovich and daughter of the John & Anna Charnago. Ann was the mother of four children, Charles (Pat) Greskovich of Henderson, NV, Thomas (Judy) Greskovich of Mundelein, IL, James Greskovich of Naples, Fl., and Susan (Dan) Joines of League City, TX. She was blessed with five grandchildren and five great grandchildren who all loved her dearly.
Born September 10, 1923, Ann's life was deeply rooted in her family and community. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Church in Whiting, St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Munster, the Daughters of Isabella charity, the American Slovak Club, and American Legion Auxiliary Post 80. Her gentle spirit and warmth shone brightly each day and touched the hearts of many other senior residents at the Brookdale Senior Living Center in Vernon Hills, IL.
A Christian Mass and heartfelt Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville, IL. Ann's mausoleum internment will be beside her late husband at St. John Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials made in Ann's honor to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
