Hagerstown, MD – Ann Geraldine Grubbs, 90, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Viva Assisted Living Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on January 6, 1935, in Lakeland, Georgia to the late Clyde William and Dicy Estelle (Richardson) Curry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Grubbs in 2021.

Ann was a graduate of Lanier County High School in Lakeland, Georgia.

She was employed by K-Mart Hagerstown, MD until her retirement. She was also a Homemaker.

She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD. She sang in the choir and was involved in many activities with the church.

Ann loved to paint and sew. She also enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her daughters Barbara A. Vincent of Hagerstown, MD and Susan V. Grubbs of Bluefield, WV; sons James V. Grubbs and his wife Mary Ann of Hagerstown, MD and Clyde W. Grubbs and his wife Pamela of Sumter, SC; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
