Richard was born in Warren, PA on April 20, 1974, the son of the late John "Jack" Grubbs and Mary Lou (Spencer) Grubbs.
He was employed at Regal Services as a forklift operator. Richard enjoyed cooking, hanging with friends, and helping his friends and family any way he could. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and watched many cooking shows on television.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jeri Sue (Beane) Grubbs, whom he married on August 19, 1995; his son, David Lance Grubbs; his twin brother, John L. Grubbs; his sister, Melissa Rockwell, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Alissa Lynn Grubbs.
There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held for Richard at a later date.
Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16509 is assisting with arrangements.
