Ann Cecil Henry, 88, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025. Born on February 25, 1937, in Moline, Illinois, Ann lived a full and vibrant life marked by devotion to her family, enduring friendships, and an unwavering spirit.

A proud veteran, Ann served in the U.S. Navy's WAVES program before beginning a long and successful career as a Contract Administrator with the Defense Supply Center. Afterward, she continued her professional journey with QVC until her well-earned retirement. Known for her warmth and hospitality, Ann made her home a gathering place of laughter and love-especially at Christmastime. Fondly nicknamed the "Mother of Christmas" by those who knew her best, she found great joy in decorating, baking, and sharing her famous Christmas cookies.

Ann's defining traits were her deep love for family, her caring nature, and her ability to face a prolonged illness with grace and humor. She treated her sons' friends as her own, offering both comfort and honest guidance when needed.

Ann is survived by her sons, Daniel Brian Henry (wife Brenda Henry) and Jerome Martin Henry and Grandson Edward Tash Henry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Edward Henry; her mother, Cecil Johnson; and her brothers, Daniel, Gus, and Jim Johnson.

Service details are to be determined.

Ann's legacy of love, generosity, and spirited wit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her-especially during the holidays she so dearly cherished. Please post your fondest condolences to the family at the Cremation Society of Virginia website.
