Ann Sarah McGuire Iverson

Ann passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 5, 2026 in North Branch.

She was born in St. Paul on September 23, 1961 to parents, Jack and Arline (Schaffhausen) McGuire. Ann grew up in West St. Paul and went onto graduate from Central Oklahoma University along with two Master Degrees from Hamline University in St. Paul. She had a long career in higher education which included instructor, Dean of Learning, Department Head and Associate Provost. She was the one person people went to when they needed a difficult task completed.

Ann's life passions were her love of poetry and her beautiful creative art. She was a poet and artist. Her life revolved around her passions. She authored seven books of poetry and three children's books. Her wonderful artwork fills her home.

Ann is survived by her husband, Randy; her stepson, Randy (Brittany) Iverson, Jr. and her grandchildren, Olivia, Lincoln and Kenneth; her sisters, Claudia McGuire and Mary McGuire Johnson and her many nieces and nephews who loved her. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanie McGuire and Margie McGuire and her parents, John and Arlene.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Access Church in North Branch with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
