Ann Jones, 90, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Palemon Gaskins Memorial Nursing Home, in Ocilla, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Sammy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the graveside services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones was born October 8, 1934, in Itawamba County, Mississippi. She was a cashier, bookkeeper and stocker for Harvey's, worked in the lab at Southern Roasted Nuts, and worked at Aeroquip. Mrs. Jones enjoyed fishing at Lake George, going to the beach, bowling, yardwork, dancing, cooking and hosting her family. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Callie Garbutt.
She is survived by her children: Roy Jones of Fitzgerald and Teresa Branch of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Daniel & Anna Jones, Brian & Sharie Branch, Andy & Sherri Branch, Ashley & Dana Jones, Matt & Karlie Jones, and Chris Singletary; great-grandchildren: Briana & Randy Feathers, Erica & Chris James, Hunter Branch, Braxton Moose & Savannah Branch, Ava Jones, Farris Jones, Dani Jones, Adriel Jones, Bryton Jones, Briggs Jones, and Shelbi Singletary; and great-great-grandchildren: Bentley Branch, Everett Feathers, Easton Feathers, and Rylee Kate Feathers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leroy Jones; a great-granddaughter, Arlie Jones; two sisters; and a brother.
Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, is in charge of arrangements.

Always loved visiting my sister in law Ann. Her door was always open and her table set with the best food ever! She never forgot her brothers family tho we didn´t have an opportunity to visit often!she was much loved and will be missed!
